Van Helsing: The Lightmaker

Description
Game Concept.
Step into the shoes of the legendary monster hunter and brilliant inventor, Professor Abraham Van Helsing, in this reimagined tale. In this FPS action game, he battles to protect the steampunk-inspired land of Dawnlight, now under siege by a sudden invasion of terrifying monsters.
My Contribution.
My primary objective was to develop prototype gameplay mechanics during the early stages of the game’s development. Following that, I created a captivating game trailer showcasing the prototype mechanics in action.
Outcome.

The gameplay mechanics I developed for the trailer include:

  • First-person perspective (FPP) movement and weapon handling
  • Level design inspired by a steampunk aesthetic
  • Puzzles and storyline creation
