PD 2: The Cabal

Description
Game Concept.

Phantom Doctrine: The Cabal introduces new modes and gameplay options, offering a completely fresh experience. This time, the game shifts to a third-person perspective in real-time. Gameplay emphasizes stealth, silent takedowns, enemy impersonation, corpse hiding, firefights, plot progression, mission planning, and recruiting new agents. Each mission demands tactical planning and skillful team management. The tactical pause system allows players to approach missions in the most strategic and optimal way, with numerous alternatives for accomplishing objectives.

My Contribution.

I was responsible for programming the core gameplay mechanics and creating a trailer to highlight them. At this stage of the project, my focus was on developing early versions of the mechanics to reflect their intended functionality.

Outcome.

The core mechanics I designed include:

  • Stealth Mechanics: Developed systems for stealth-based gameplay, including silent takedowns, enemy detection, and hiding mechanics to enhance tactical play.
  • User Interface Programming: Designed and implemented an intuitive and functional user interface to ensure smooth player interaction and effective mission planning.
